Tasmiah Chowdhury is a Bangladeshi-American textile artist constructing two- and three-dimensional works through ink, thread and mixed fibers.
Coming from a non-art background, she turned to art as a means of restoration following a health crisis that led her away from corporate systems. Immersing herself in ancient healing practices, she learned to alchemize her creative work into medicine.
Her practice explores how materials hold and transform memory, treating every creation as an inquiry into the experience of being and a mirror to our fundamental Oneness.
